  • What online payment methods are available?
    You have the possibility to pay for your order by Visa or Mastercard. Note however that the amount of your order is only blocked on your banking account, and that the final amount that will be deducted from your account is the one sent at the time of the confirmation of order preparation. This process is set up simply to avoid debiting you on a product that is unavailable on the day of the order preparation.

    As the price of some products may vary depending on their weight, note that we are forced to block the order amount with a safety margin of + 5% of the order amount. The final amount may therefore vary slightly, both downwards and upwards, compared to the amount initially planned at the time of the order confirmation.


  • Do I receive an invoice when ordering?
    Yes, you will find all your invoices in the “Order History” tab.


  • Do I need LuxTrust Mobile, a Token or 3D Secure to be able to pay on the Octus site?
    Following regulations that came into force at the beginning of 2021, you are obliged to validate your 1st order using the 3D Secure method. Except on the initiative of your bank, you no longer need to validate your next orders, provided that you have registered your credit card on the Octus website. Financial data protection is provided by Six Payment Services.


  1. I don’t have an account in Luxembourg and therefore no LuxTrust Mobile or Token, how can I pay on the Octus website? 
    If you are unable to pay with your credit card, your bank may not have activated the “3D Secure” service yet. Contact your bank for more information. 


  • Can I carry out e-commerce transactions without having a LuxTrust certificate, assuming that I have a bank account in Luxembourg?
    No, without LuxTrust it is not possible to make payments by credit card as regulations require strong authentication or to register your card. The security means supported are the LuxTrust Token and LuxTrust Mobile. These regulations were implemented to protect your bank account from fraudulent attacks when doing online transactions.


  • How can I activate LuxTrust Mobile?
    You can activate LuxTrust Mobile by downloading the application via the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. You obviously also have the option of contacting your bank to help you complete the procedures.
