COOKIE POLICY

  • What are cookies?

Besides being a delicious kind of biscuits, cookies is a term used in the computer language to describe small files specific to a user and website and are stored on the user's device during the browsing session.

Don't worry, they cannot be used as a virus, to hack your device or access and collect other data. You privacy is safe.

In fact, cookies are used to store information about the user's browsing behaviour on a specific website, for a specific amount of time. This allows to present a web page to be tailored to an individual user.

Example: cookies on an e-commerce site ensure that the products you put in the shopping basket stay linked to your account, and not to your neighbour's.

Eventually, there are different kind of cookies, going from ones that are essential to the proper working of a website to cookies tracking information on how the website is used. Cookies need the user's approval before the start of each session, and cannot work without the user's consent.
